Ohh, I should grep my logs on "failed" before posting ...

My "X-skills" are below zero I'm afraid. I've read here at deamonforums that all the lines for a working xorg.conf are in /var/log/Xorg.0.log. How do I distill a proper xorg.conf that does work from this 75k character file or do I have to do that by hand?

I guess the xorg.conf file is the right tool for entervening with the automated config process or are there other methods to load a different driver when X starts?

I've looked at -current and that looks like I've got to compile the whole system myself. I'm only an OpenBSD newbie, that looks a bit too complicated for me now. Unless I'm wrong.
