While I thought of such a solution, it is heavy-handed in preventing all other audio play. Maybe this is okay with
tixx8542, maybe it isn't.
tixx8542 needs to further clarify the situation, & his goal.
As for another
(obvious) solution, the battery could simply be kept charged. If the laptop beeps when it is low on charge, don't let it get low in the first place. Problem solved.
