Hi,
unfortunatelly NetBSD doesn't provide any "click and go" methods. You do not need to connect your HP to any computer etc. All you need is just the CF card you will install NetBSD onto. If you do not have NetBSD as primary installation on PC you can use some LiveCD of NetBSD (
http://www.jibbed.org/) to install all sets etc, create disk labels, slices etc.

P.S.
You do not need to do the bootstrapping.
