There are alternatives to searching the
http://openports.se/ site:
- You can install the ports tree & perform searches on it with the tools discussed in Section 15.3.4 of the FAQ along with the ports(7) manpage.
- You can also manually search through the ports tree using the CVS Web interface mentioned on the project's homepage. The relevant page you will want to navigate to is:
http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/ports/
- Lastly, you can always connect to one of the mirror sites & perform searches on package names in the appropriate directory. For the i386 platform, this would be:
/pub/OpenBSD/5.1/packages/i386
...assuming you have OpenBSD 5.1-release or -stable installed.
