I finished it some time ago, I played it because it runs on FreeBSD, but if you ask me the previous games were much better, especially PST and BG2.
In NWN I don't really like the story, the number of sidequests were also pretty limited and often of poor quality, and the less said about the henchmen system, the better.
There's GemRB to play Infinity engine games, not sure how usable it is.
