I just noticed that dig is 1.3M in my FreeBSD 7 machine. Wow.
For reference, the entire maradns package is also 1.3M (This includes a authoratize server, a recursive resolver, a "dig-like" utility, and documentation).
I was/am building a small FreeBSD LiveFS. I guess it'll be without bind and with some other resolver.
