I don't know about FreeBsd, but sure am happy with OpenBsd,..
guess that is about it for now.

Not so much that is scares me, but I never could make sense of why they
think they need it, everything worked fine with out it.
I am not very advanced technically , and prefer something that "just works",
no "dancing baloney" , that gets messy, and then one has to try to clean up the mess,.....

I am not skilled enough or advanced enough to be constantly trying to clean up the mess made by the "dancing baloney",....especially when it is something that
as far as I know, has no real purpose or need.
So any way, OpenBsd has everything I need, and does not require me to install all sorts of junk that I don't need, nor waste a bunch of time trying to remove all the unwanted junk,..... clean and simple.
We don't live on "bread and meat and potatoes", here, but Corn Tortillas,Beans and Rice", are the main thing. Oh and coffee, and
tobacco,...gotta have them.
