Default Cisco IOS commands ??

.

Since I posted the below question, I bypassed the need for the answer (this year probably). Sorry!
secondhand Cisco router
currently an #ifconfig... and a #route... sets up a .0 network, with the nic as .99, and default gateway .1 (prefixes omitted)

I want to insert the router as
.99 >>> ...new 10.10.x.x. or....>> 871Router >>...exisiting x.x.x.Y ...>>> .1 gw || dsl box || .99 seen outside

50 or so pdfs' and htm's I've saved are not verbose enough AFAIK. I
will know otherwise if I spend a few hours with each one. (maybe)

... "overload"
... "nat only"
...... "pat version of nat"
... "acl rather than nat"
... "acl additionally to nat"
... "dhcp y/n"
routing terms I am unsure of that I need to use in This Setup.

I regret that of the 20 or 50 or so "answersing sites" i've saved
posted the working configuration without enough comments nor
diagrams to explain each command line, about how it relates to
the end result in the network.

..................................................
SOLVED this year, another router (consumer grade ) happened to work
only a few hours per week to attempt to do the configuration myself, is
why I posted here.
