When it comes to the package/ports system, & more specifically the
/ports CVS branch,
some changes are made during the life of the release. It comes down to a judgment in the importance of whether a change can, or should, wait to the next release.

This is correct for
-current.
OpenPorts indicates that moving to 3.10.5 was done at the end of May.
