Exclamation Terminal types

Hey y'all

I use a linux computer to manage my OpenBSD server via serial port. I have benn useing a software that only supports vt102 and ANSI emulation. and I cant get it to work very well when i set it to vt102 in the ttys file i have trouble editing files correctly in vi and when i have it as ANSI vi says thats and unknown terminal type. is there a way i can get OpenBSD to play nice with eithor of these terminal emulations. are these terminal emulations even supported?
