PCBSD is sort of the Ubuntu of the BSD's. That is, it aims at the newcomer, and their forums (at least they used to, I haven't been there in a long time) show amazing patience with newcomers.

It's the one that got some commercial support, and in the same way that Ubuntu was popular enough to push Dell to put Linux on some of their laptops, it's the one most likely to get BSD hardware support.

As for the it's its--shucks CarpetSmoker, many native English speakers make the same error--a tribute to the education system in my country. (On the other hand, I've made the same error, but as a typo or just not thinking, so I should shut up.)

By the way anonmie, I noted that you also thanked Admin. I'm a great believer in remembering someone's past goodness, and so, despite what's happened to bsdforums, yes, he put together something good. It's too bad that he didn't continue, but we can never really know the circumstances.

It's much better to remember the good about people than the bad.
