What application are you trying to use that isn't working?

It looked like you had the pcm driver loaded before and it recognized your sound card.

Make sure your speakers or whatever are plugged into the correct jack. Sometimes the driver doesn't always pick the one that you think it should be. Try the other ones.

You can do a quick test to see if sound is flowing to the speakers (turn the volume down a bit first):
$ cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp
That should produce some audible static. You could also use a .wav file...that might be a little bit more pleasant to listen to (although it may sound slow).
