Thank you very much for the information. I noticed what you said carefully while booting and you were right: wd0 seemed to be my "backup" hd. I did what you suggest here:

but this was giving me the same error. wd0 was again the wrong hd. After much thought and search, it came to me: swap cables! I never EVER thought that there is an os that is able to notice this thing! Well, I was wrong.
