I agree.
The BSD license is one of the main features of FreeBSD.
For me, adding GNU licensed code to FreeBSD takes away value, it does not add value.
On the other hand if GNU licensed code owners want to submit their code to the FreeBSD project under a BSD license, then I say code away...
