Are you sure. I get following errors when I issue following command
Code:
#kldload snd_driver
sio4: configured irq 3 not in bitmap of probed irqs 0
sio4: port may not be enabled
ppc0: parallel port not found
sio4: configured irq 3 not in bitmap of probed irqs 0
sio4: port may not be enabled
cpu1: Cx states changed
.
.(Same message again and again)
.
pcm0: <Intel 82801H High Defination Audio Controller> mem 0xfc300000-0xfc303fff irq 22 at device 27.0. on pci0
pcm0: [ITHREAD]
pcm0: <HDA Codec: Realtek ALC268>
..
and so on
But when I do cat /dev/sndstat
It shown snd_hda

I havent tried playing any sound yet. I don't see then when I tried from secure shell or from X11 (earlier). Is it normal?
