Default Permissions of drm or video devices for better fps

Hi,

My glxgears gives me 100fps. Mplayer seems to run fine. My favorite game, the only one I play is Minetest, but it's only running at 8 fps. Last time I accidentally opened my permissions up to everything open 777 the fps went up to a good level.

This is for 3d hardware acceleration. So is there a quick fix? X -configure won't complete also.
