Default iwn0: fatal firmware error

I'm in need of some help.
I'm trying to run OpenBSD 4.7 (Stable) on a Fujitsu U820 Lifebook. I knew that the Atheros wireless card it came with wouldn't jive with Obsd, so I bought an Intel 5300 instead. I installed the card, and then installed iwn-firmware-5.3 as per the iwn man page.

But it seems I'm not having much luck with this wireless card either.

It's discovered on boot, but trying to ifconfig it for basic use (128bit WEP, DHCP) gives me the following:

Code:
iwn0: fatal firmware error
iwn0: bad firmware error log address 0x00000000
iwn0: timeout waiting for adapter to initialize
iwn0: could not initialize hardware
iwn0: no link ................ sleeping
iwn0: fatal firmware error
iwn0: bad firmware error log address 0x00000000
iwn0: timeout waiting for adapter to initialize
iwn0: could not initialize hardware
iwn0: fatal firmware error
iwn0: bad firmware error log address 0x00000000
iwn0: timeout waiting for adapter to initialize
iwn0: could not initialize hardware
iwn0: fatal firmware error
iwn0: bad firmware error log address 0x00000000
iwn0: timeout waiting for adapter to initialize
iwn0: could not initialize hardware
iwn0: not found
For a sanity check, it does work on the same machine in XP. Also, for what it's worth, the U820 has a switch to enable and disable the Wireless + Bluetooth. When the switch is off, I get a different message that pretty much indicates it can't find the wireless card at all.

Code:
iwn0: radio is disabled by hardware switch
iwn0: radio is disabled by hardware switch
iwn0: radio is disabled by hardware switch
iwn0: no link. ......... sleeping
iwn0: radio is disabled by hardware switch
And my dmesg:
Code:

and here's the script I use for wireless setup:
Code:
ifconfig iwn0 nwid seannet nwkey 0x0987654321abcdef0987654321 chan 11
dhclient iwn0
I'm stuck at this point. If there is anything else someone needs to help diagnose what's going on, just let me know.
