This is a step in the right direction.
It would be nice if it runs on OpenBSD some day.
A virtual machine is no more secure than it's hypervisor and I don't like the idea of a hypervisor running on Linux or Windows...
The hypervisor has to be the central security apparatus for the whole system.
Putting "security" on a virtual machine is like putting security on an internet client.
