Default Mounting a FreeBSD UFS partition

With the differences between the solaris and freebsd ufs implementations, is there a way that anyone knows of that would allow me to mount a freebsd disk that is in the same machine as my solaris installation. I have a 147GB disk formated with freebsd that holds only data. And I like to access it from my solaris desktop.

I tried using mount -F autofs and it did mount but an ls on the mount produces garbage.
