It's a good rule of thumb to ALWAYS use quoted paths when variables are involved, e.g. "${HOME}/fux" but when you have a constant like /usr/lib/nvidia-current/xorg/xorg, not so much a concern. Since paths will usually not contain spaces on unix systems, it's sadly but regularly omitted as well.

In the end, there is no substitute for a case of butterfingers
