Flash9 does not work on FreeBSD and it never has. If you want it, run Windows Firefox under Wine and use the Windows Flash9 version. Or use Windows in a virtual machine.
This may change as the linuxator and associated support improves.
I should mention that Flash7 works fine with nspluginwrapper, but there are many flash animations that require a more recent Flash version.
