I thought that the AerieBSD leader was former OpenBSD developer Michael Shalayeff from Ukraine who lives and works in Germanu. He is not a joke and he more or less single single-handedly ported OpenBSD to HPPA architecture.
OpenBSD has the best support of any open source projects for HPPA even though the PA-RISC Linux was the first non proprietary system to run HPPA and was even actively supported by HP for many years.
The MirBSD project leader was commenting AerieBSD on his blog. He is hopping that they would adopt MirBSD ports. That would really invigorate MirBSD project which has produced so far at least two big things Mir Korn Shell and the new BSD licensed version of Troff.
