No, he shouldn't.. an xorg.conf from a Linux system will most likely NOT work on OpenBSD, not without significant changes.. keyboards and mice are handled differently for example.
You should use the default /etc/X11/xorg.conf and read the file I mentioned before, it explains how to set things up.
Configuration of accelerated X is fully explained, if the OP refuses to read it or post relevant information.. we cannot help him.
