If a particular package is not available, it is usually one of two reasons:
- License restrictions prevent binary distribution
- The port or a dependency within the port's chain of build dependencies cannot be built on the architecture.
Reason #1 affects all architectures, and reason #2 affects individual architectures.
There is one port that is covered by both reasons: www/opera is an i386-only application and redistribution is not permitted under its license. The ports build process merely fetches Linux binaries directly from ftp.opera.com for execution under compat_linux(8).
