Apart from working very well with torrent and edonkey protocol, I really like the fact that mldonkey supports connecting to more than 1 servers.

Just one thing, I have never tried Gnutella successfully. I never have any result found from other gnutella clients when I do a search. Does it work for you, tangram?
I was a rtorrent user too. But with MLDonkey's web interface even my wife could use it. Plus the daemon side and multi protocol aspects of MLDonkey won me over.

As for Gnutella network... I haven't use it. 90% of the times I use ed2k network and the remaining time I use the bitorrent network.

But make sure you've compiled it with Gnutella support and browse the settings make sure it is enabled. Also take a look here http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/Gnutella for the project's info on Gnutella support.

Hope it helps.
