Default HOWTO: OpenBSD with SUN JAVA & Netbeans

BSDMagazine, February 2012, has a nice openBSD-specific article on installing NETBEANS Integrated Development Environment (IDE). NETBEANS, a JAVA based killer application, affords a GUI developer's platform for programming in C, C++, JAVA and other languages. In satifying the prerquisites for NETBEANS the HOWTO lays out HOWTO install the JAVA JRE AND JDE, of which you expressed your interest.

BSDMagazine is free (must register) and well worth the time to read it when it comes out.

P.S.: NETBEANS is a very sweet IDE.
