I use runbox.com (norway), checking it now it does not seem expensive. I don't use it extensively, but for about thirty or less emails per day. ( the freebsd-current mailing list )...

With an .mpoprc (/usr/ports/mail/mpop) one can download emails, which I've only done once...

I've set it up with a non-runbox.com ( one's own domain ) email address. So anything that gets sent to jbtakk@ ..............com arrives there, nothing sent to runbox.com would reach my email, which is a
feature not a bug.
