I don't believe that's right, they use a vanilla FreeBSD kernel... so it's a distribution, not a fork.

Really, I kinda wish people would stop making "distributions" like that... it's Linux-like in nature, all the other BSD derivatives maintain their own kernel and userlands..

PCBSD created a OS X (dmg) style (PBI) package format... that's about it
