Assuming you want to collect the information on each system manually rather then automagically and store it in that database yes.


I'm not aware of any such thing that isn't focused for secretarial stuff but writing one wouldn't take long and any database backend would do, even down to a flat-file db.


I'd probably do it through phpmyadmin & mysql
