Hi all,

Thanks you very much for your help.
Here that I've explain to you yesterday :

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/3.1/README
NetBSD-{VERSION}/{MACHINE} dirs are obsolete.
Please use NetBSD/{MACHINE}/{VERSION} dirs.

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/5.0/README
NetBSD-{VERSION}/{MACHINE} dirs are obsolete.
Please use NetBSD/{MACHINE}/{VERSION} dirs.

Now, I've found :
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/4.0/i386/All/
For :
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/5.0/
this is enough/still ready (Sorry, if I'm an English killer.
I begin to understand the problem. The community is missing persons for help the project.
The releases'mirrors aren't synchros. This is a big work.

Otherwise, for package base gnome has name change. Is "gnome-build-2.24.1.tgz" the base package for NetBSD 4.0 and next?
I thank you again for links and remarks, also for :

If you want to install a lot of binary packages with pkg_add, you can edit root's .cshrc file and un-comment the line that sets the PKG_PATH. (that's the url that IdOp provided above that pkg_add uses to download the package(s).)
It's located about half-way down in the file. There's a comment above it talking about downloading binaries with pkg_add.

Thank Tom.
I see also the similarity between NetBSD and OpenBSD.
I think that OpenBSD have better means for work.
I know also problem to install the OS and the packages with one of my two optical drive : some tests as cd0a and cd1a have completely lock the system. I must use the sweet method of poweroff computer.
Goodbye,
