SD/MMC cards are supported on your system, but some things aren't supported due to lack of written drivers or available documentation.. firewire isn't supported on any system, some unofficial patches once existed from NetBSD though.

I presume you mean these devices, no need to worry.. one is just some sort of unsupported video control interface, the other is for Intel AMI/HECI.

As for the camera, you can use any port that support the V4L (Video4Linux) API.

You'll have to test out a few ports yourself, AFAIK mplayer works as well.

For quick tests, perhaps use this port?
graphics/luvcview

Some dumb devices need firmware as mentioned in uvideo(4), most others do not.
