Question Vetting a bug report

Hello everyone,

I'd like to send in a proper bug report, but I'm not sure I've got everything in order. (Output appended below.) Ran -current snaps on my old dead laptop without problems, but now there's a few quirks with a newer replacement. ...xdm blacks out, starting X from console sometimes comes up with the wrong resolution and unchangeable through xrandr or locks up (not pasting X.log.0 here), and I can't boot up unless acpi is disabled.

I had enough time to install -current, play with it a bit, and sent in an initial dmesg June 1st--although the acpi issue wasn't present. These issues have surfaced on snaps since last Wednesday. I ran trace, ps, show panic, registers, and of course dmesg, like the report page suggests, but I may likely have messed something up since I retyped it on a different machine. Perhaps all the X issues should be addressed in a separately and/or privately to oga@ and matthieu@ (I think those are the right devs)? Try source instead of snaps? Include pcidump and acpidump? Is any of this enough of an issue to even warrant a report in the first place? Any advice I can get is appreciated, I've never submitted a bug report before, so I want to make sure it's right the first time.

"mach ddbcpu 1" hangs as well, so that's where this ends. Phew.

Hm, maybe I should append a dmesg without acpi too...
