xombrero with tor and polipo and adsuck is what i use for the most part. i like xombrero's minimalist approach, but yet still being very functional on most sites. dillo and netsurf just don't function as well for me despite being minimalist. xombrero runs very well on even modest hardware in my experience -- and it is quite simple to configure to browse with a degree of privacy. the only note I should add is this: using Tor does cause a degree of lag while browsing.
