EURid debuts YADIFA name server
From http://h-online.com/-1629996
Quote:
An open source DNS name server that supports DNSSEC and is designed to be authoritative has been released by EURid, the European Registry of Internet Domain Names. YADIFA is intended to be a lightweight alternative to more established projects; the developers say it was "built from scratch to face today’s DNS challenges, with no compromise on security, speed and stability".

YADIFA 1.0.0 is available for Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Solaris, with other Unix and Windows versions planned for a later release. Binaries for several Linux distributions (CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu), Mac OS X and FreeBSD are available for download from the project's web site, along with the project's source code. The software is licensed under the FreeBSD licence.
