Fair enough. To be honest, the method he provided on his website is
fine for my use case. It's just me and sometimes my wife using my machines, and she doesn't install software herself. Her (quite sensible) opinion is that if our household needs more than one amateur sysadmin, I should train one of the cats.
The problem is that they can't even pronounce the name of the OS correctly. They can barely manage to call it "mewnix".
