The unaltered Makefile produces the following error:
Makefile:13: *** missing separator. Stop.
Where line 13 is the one concerning the include instruction. My altered Makefile, described above, produces the following error:
/usr/share/mk/bsd.prog.mk:4: *** missing separator. Stop.
Where again the make program appears to be complaining about the usage of a period before include, carrot brackets, and lack of directory listings.
