I do most of my work with iptables and pf, given that I have a choice, but in this case I'm looking at an existing system that uses ipfw and have been assigned the task of becoming proficient with ipfw. The box in question is largely using ipfw for traffic shaping with the DUMMYNET module which, I'm aware, was not it's intended purpose - there are plenty of ways to shape traffic with pf and altq, too.

I'd appreciate any and all ipfw resources, especially if they have good examples.
