Sorry, my apologies to all, I admit have been a bit abusive this days, but not on purpose. It won't happen again in the future.
Bios and suspend issues are very new and quite difficult to understand for me, although I had a look on some explanations (for example on Wikipedia) I still find all very confusing.
As you make me note, my Thinkpad x200 does not seem to have a Phoenix bios, so all I did I guess is useless.
Does it mean my hidden partition is also useless? How does suspend to disk actually work? Will it suspend to a system file? How do I find out? I did have look for information, but could not find anything better than "apm works out of the box" "fn+f4 works out of the box", which does not for me. also, on this site you have some installation guides, but all linux related:

fn+f12 to suspend to disk
How does suspend to disk work exactly? I mean, does suspend to disk always need a hidden partition or will it work on system files? How do I find out?
If suspend to disk is not working at all I would be fine with having only suspend to ram, but pressing fn+f4 does nothing, and typing
or will give me this message but then nothing would happen, the console goes back to "$" or '#" and that's it.
I enabled apm at boot time with and it seems to work fine, because if I tipe "apm" I get
