OpenBSD has disabled Intel’s hyper-threading technology, citing security concerns.
As detailed in
this post, OpenBSD maintainer Mark Kettenis wrote that “SMT (Simultanious Multi Threading) implementations typically share TLBs and L1 caches between threads.”
