PcBSD was the first *BSD Variant I tried as liveOS .. then I installed it and played with the PBIs and discovered the magic of ports ..
afterwards I happen to know OpenBSD , and that has been a revelation , so to speak ..
I hope the BSD variants continue to stick to the KISS principle and adhere to the unix philosophy even when dealing with us beginners .. no bloating ..
.. BSD rocks .. BSD=ZEN in the strictest sense of it ..
