Default BT ADSL anyone had experience

If possible I would like to hear from anyone who is connecting directly to BT broadband from an openbsd box. And if so what type of ADSL modem are they using. If possible also a little guidance on dial up settings on openbsd.

I could always use the BT ADSL router and put the openbsd box after if but it would be great to get opnbsd connecting directly and then I can monitor pf to see what is lurking outside. I could then get the bsd to serve as a dhcp server and router fr my internal lan. We currently have a block of 5 dedicated IP's but routing them will be a future project.

The BT box is very limited as to the information coming in from outside and the bsd box has all the goodies available for firewalling and protecting ssh access etc.

If someone is doing this then it would be great to hear from them.

Regards
