I have still Mountain Lion but I miss FreeBSD more and more.
IMO the biggest problem will be the graphics card:

On Mac works very good and on Linux Mint (live DVD) it works very good too. But as I know FreeBSD support for ATI graphics cards is not good (it is my experience too).
I will try with live FreeBSD or PCBSD.
