Any risk of what?

Getting hacked? Sure, if you misconfigure things.
Hardware failure? Sure, if you have old hardware.
Your house/apartment catching fire? Sure, if the wiring isn't up to code.
Burnt toast? Probably not, you're not using NetBSD...
