During my day job I am blessed to have the misfortune to write application for Win32 systems. But because I use FreeBSD at home I spent a lot of time trying to find a solution to allow me to do cross platform programming when ever I could find the chance. I've settle with wxWidget as the GUI tool kit, because it has Python and C++ bindings - I believe it also has other languages but not 100% sure.
I write primarily in Python as it seems to take less tweaking across platforms.
