Yes, I have been running as root, but every package fetch/build errors.
I've checked out the -stable ports tree. As I understand it (and from reading the mailing list thread when this was first introduced) dpb drops privileges for build and fetch. So it's possible I have the wrong permissions on the ports tree or am missing something obvious?!
I set the permissions/group on the ports tree as per "Avoiding root privileges":

From dpb(1), the build_user defaults to whoami(1), which will be root. I have tried setting this to my own user (which is in the wsrc group) and still get all errors.
Out of ideas.
