I keep getting the below error trying to install snort.

# make install clean
===> snort-2.8.2.1 options FLEXRESP and FLEXRESP2 are mutually exclusive.
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/security/snort.
have done a make deinstall clean and than tried again does not help
any ideas how to fix this
