Yes,
scrot is a simple screen capture utility which can capture
xterm(1) output. I do not know if this entirely meets
fvgit's needs or not, but perhaps it needs to be mentioned.
Having said that, if capturing
all POST output
(which may exceed what is displayed on a single screen...) is important, I would suggest connecting a serial cable to a second OpenBSD system & saving all output through
cu(1) &
script(1).
