While Stallman's comments are familiarly offensive I find most of coverage in main stream U.S. media including PBS equally if not more offensive. On Friday there was a 10 minutes peace on PBS News hour in which Jobs was credited for "invention of new operating system while working in NeXT" and for all sorts of other inventions (GUI, mouse, touchscreen, art & design) for which he had no even a marginal competence.
Glorifying a savvy entrepreneur over the silent genius of many (Ritchie, McCarthy most recently or Joe Ossana in seventies) or even a Steve Wozniak is just plain wrong!
