Thanks, I know about cdrip, I think I shall go with that. Otherwise, what other players do you recommend? Xmms doesn't seem to be able to directly play cds, or am I wrong?
My kern.shminfo.shmmax is already as high as 50331648, otherwise postgres wouldn't initdb.
