I stopped watching TV a long time ago and don't miss it either. I highly recommend it.
I saw video of a click farm somewhere in Asia where they had thousands of mobile phones in a factory sized room, and employees were running around liking things on social media. Basically that is what you are doing on social media except you aren't getting paid. You are doing unpaid work that turns the social media company owners into billionaires.
